What else does Orange Plastics focus on?
Smart and sustainable engineering
During the process, we assess the manufacturability of a product and, of course, we also look at the possibilities of setting up the design in such a way that it can be processed in a sustainable way. This means that we try to make products as much as possible from the same type of plastic and not add other materials such as metal or silicone, which would make it more complicated to process the materials. Smart engineering at Orange Plastics also ensures that as little waste as possible remains after the end of the production process.
Low energy use
At Orange Plastics, we try to coordinate the production process as optimally as possible and to make minimal use of fossil fuels. We urge our partners to make as much use of renewable energy as possible and try to keep transport to a minimum. In addition, we use an extensive machine park with machines of different sizes and specifications. It is important to find out on which type of machine a product should be produced and thus make the most of the used energy. A small product is made with a small mould, therefore needs little pressure and does not need to be manufactured on a large machine. Learn more about this process? Check out our OPA videos!
