Once the design is in state, it can be converted into molds, also called moulds. The cavities in these molds have the exact shape of your end product. Allowing liquid plastic to be injected into the mold and thus taking on the desired shape.<\/p>

After testing the mold, mass production can start. The\u00a0mold<\/a>\u00a0is placed in the injection molding machine. The machine is filled with a large amount of small plastic granules which, due to the high temperature, melt into a liquid mass. With high pressure, the plastic is pressed into the mold where it solidifies quickly. After solidification, the mold can be opened and voil\u00e0: the product is ready.<\/p>

At least, if the product consists of only one component. When you produce a complex product, the individual parts are assembled after injection molding. This is done either by hand, with machine work or even in the mold itself.<\/p>

It is also possible to combine different materials with plastic. For example, you can bring rubber, glass, wood or metal together with plastic in a single product. This makes injection molding the ideal production method for creating versatile, complex products. Both in terms of aesthetics and function.
