The grids are placed in the cage in multiple &#8220;cycles&#8221; to create optimal conditions for the insects. <\/p><p>Together with Insectocyle, Orange Plastics developed and produced the innovative grid.<\/p><p>Black soldier fly larvae are rich in protein and are used in many food products.<\/p><p>Besides being easy to grow, they require minimal resources and water to grow. This makes them extremely sustainable because they don&#8217;t burden the environment. Sustainability is a high priority for Orange Plastics.  <\/p><p>Moreover, Orange Plastics is keen to contribute to innovations in its own country. This project required extreme urgency, which we were able to respond effectively to.
