Eland Machines and Orange Plastics collaborate on successful manure seasons
A traditional Dutch product that is ready for the future, innovative and also sustainable. That is exactly what the new slurry injectors from Eland Machines stand for.
Orange Plastics aims to leverage its years of experience in the plastics industry to not only find environmentally friendly solutions, but also to cultivate sustainable business relationships with whom it can take meaningful steps toward shaping the world of tomorrow.
The Eland Machines sod fertilizer spreaders have a low tare weight and are low-maintenance. With this, the organization responds to the market need to develop agricultural machinery that, in addition to being sustainable, is also suitable for keeping vulnerable crops intact and thus guaranteeing quality consumption.
To make an environmentally conscious contribution to agricultural machinery, the technical engineers at Orange Plastics, in close collaboration with the founders of Eland, devised a set of plastic components for the pipes of the lightweight fertilizer spreaders.
The parts are made of Polyoxemethylene (POM) and connect seamlessly with the other parts of the machines. A silicone insulation sleeve ensures that no manure can leak through the pipe. In addition to injection molds, Orange Plastics also develops silicone compression molds.
An interesting video has been made for an extensive explanation of the machine.
